Five-time Grammy nominee and Afrobeats icon Davido has officially unveiled his sixth studio project, ORIADÉ, released via Sony Music UK and RCA Records. Arriving in tandem with his 15th anniversary in the music industry, the 13-track album marks a milestone moment of reflection and growth.
The project boasts an eclectic lineup of guest features, including Leon Thomas, Black Sherif, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, Fola, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD, and GL_Ceejay. Translating from Yoruba as “crowned head” or “destiny’s crown,” ORIADÉ acts as an allegory for self-realization and legacy. Across the record, Davido weaves together themes of family, unity, gratitude, and Nigerian pride.
The album campaign was launched with the lead single “I Know Who I Be“ (featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay), a reflective anthem accompanied by a nostalgic music video filmed at Davido’s childhood residence alongside key figures from his career. He followed it up with “Gimme Dat Ting“ (featuring NO11), an energetic hybrid of Afrobeats and Amapiano celebrating confidence and hard-earned victory.

Musically, ORIADÉ pushes genre boundaries:
- “Amazing Grace“ (feat. Black Sherif) reimagines the Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” into a soulful Afrobeats ballad.
- “Already Falling“ pays homage to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
- “Tell Everybody” (feat. Leon Thomas) fuses contemporary R&B with Afrobeats in an open declaration of devotion.
