Nigerian Afrobeats singer Skiibii has expanded his 2026 discography with the official release of “Shakira“, a collaborative single featuring rising stars Kashcoming and WiiLii. Distributed through More Grace Music and Dvpper Digital, the playful record draws its title as a nod to the iconic Colombian star’s dance moves.
Collaborative Dynamics & Sound
- Bridging Generations: Known for hit anthems like “Sensima” and “Baddest Boy”, Skiibii links up with Kashcoming – who has built a strong reputation across contemporary street-pop and Afrosounds – and emerging performer WiiLii.
- Signature Aesthetic: The track blends catchy, conversational vocal phrases with rhythmic street-pop percussion, maintaining Skiibii’s trademark style while incorporating fresh vocal deliveries.
- 2026 Release Momentum: “Shakira” acts as a direct follow-up to Skiibii’s earlier 2026 collaborative single “Champion”, which featured East African star Harmonize and fast-rising vocalist Rybeena.
