“CTRL” pairs Nigerian vocalist Kashcoming with fellow countryman Zaylevelten for a 2026 collaborative track that unites two rising forces in the nation’s vibrant street-pop circuit.
Coming on the heels of his previous single “Chaser,” Kashcoming centers this new release on themes of wealth and personal drive, as previewed in teaser lyrics shared prior to the drop. Zaylevelten contributes his distinct rap sensibilities to the mix, building on the momentum of his recent project, the B4SAVEME EP.
The partnership bridges contrasting sonic backgrounds: Kashcoming is recognized for his dynamic Afrosounds and street-pop anthems, whereas Zaylevelten leans heavily into contemporary Nigerian hip-hop. This fusion gives the track a unique positioning within both artists’ growing repertoires.
