Ghanaian music star KiDi enters a deeply reflective era with his upcoming 2026 Lynx Entertainment album, “Where Do We Go From Here.”
Postponed from its original 2025 release window, the project underwent an extensive transformation, before it was finally released on 27th August, 2026. The artist – Dennis Nana Dwamena – scrapped initial tracks, brought in new feature talent, and reworked the sequence.
Shifting away from chasing short-lived social media trends, the former Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) winner uses this record to examine the complexities of love, success, and his future in Ghana’s music landscape. The adjusted release timeline represents a calculated effort by Lynx Entertainment. Following his 2023 EP 4Play, the team opted to establish momentum with the February single “BABYLON” before rolling out the full album in Q3 2026.
This schedule allows KiDi to avoid competing head-to-head with major 2026 drops from artists like Black Sherif, King Promise, and Stonebwoy, while positioning the record for 2027 award consideration. Musically, the album moves past his signature party anthems like “Say Cheese” and “Champagne.” The project favors a moody Highlife-R&B fusion built around live horns, piano-driven instrumentation, and minimal Amapiano influences.

Featuring unconfirmed collaborations across Nigerian Afrobeats and traditional Ghanaian Highlife, Where Do We Go From Here marks KiDi’s transition from a hitmaking lover-boy to an introspective album-artist building his long-term legacy. Album features the likes of Sarkodie, Lasmid in ‘Signature‘, Arathejay, and Kwesi Arthur.
