Global Afrobeats star CKay is set to usher in his boldest sonic era yet with his latest single, “African Girls,” featuring fast-rising artist Kidd Carder. The track marks a natural evolution for the multi-platinum singer-songwriter, moving beyond the intimate, emotionally raw records that first launched him into global stardom. Over the last few years, CKay has quietly reshaped his identity, building a rhythm-driven catalog optimized for nightlife, clubs, and major streaming platforms.
Driven by Mara-inspired bounce and a raw, street-conscious energy, “African Girls” strikes a perfect balance between CKay’s signature melodic sensitivity and a more physical, club-ready confidence. Kiddcard3r’s feature adds a youthful, unpredictable edge to the track, anchoring it deeply in contemporary African movement culture.
