Tanzanian singer Harmonize links up with Nigerian artist Mayorkun on “Bumpy Ride,” a major collaboration featured on his 14-track project 31.
The song highlights the album’s broad continental vision by blending Harmonize’s signature East African pop sound with Mayorkun’s West African Afrobeats style. Arriving shortly after the lead single “Beautiful,” the track adds a sharp Nigerian flair to the broader tracklist.
Built around classic Bongo Flava rhythms, the track moves with a fast, high-energy groove. Its structure provides plenty of room for both vocalists, using their distinct flows to keep the track dynamic throughout its short duration.

Harmonize continues to leverage a massive regional fan base built on years of cross-border features. Teaming up with Mayorkun – a hitmaker in his own right – bridges the gap between East and West African soundscapes to expand the record’s appeal across both markets.
