Projexx

Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Projexx carries forward one of the most illustrious bloodlines in Caribbean music history. As the grandson of legendary, pioneering dancehall producer King Jammy and the son of producer Lloyd “John John” James, he spent his formative years absorbing the mechanics of production and performance directly from the architects of reggae and dancehall. That studio-bred immersion has allowed Projexx to carve out a distinctive contemporary identity as both a singer and producer. Fusing traditional Jamaican rhythms with modern Afrobeats, global pop, and R&B sensibilities, he has built an impressive collaborative footprint – lending his dynamic pen and vocal cadence to high-profile tracks alongside global heavyweights like Wizkid (“True Love”), Juls, and Blaqbonez.
