Singer-songwriter Mannywellz joins forces with UK-based artist Odeal for an emotionally charged, soul-stirring collaboration titled “Cry On You“. Blending smooth R&B textures with contemporary Afrobeats rhythms, the track serves as a poignant exploration of empathy, unconditional love, and mutual vulnerability.
Weaving together Nigerian Pidgin and Yoruba expressions, Mannywellz and Odeal create a soothing dialogue aimed at reassuring a partner navigating life’s heavy burdens. Anchored by the reassuring refrain “cry on you,” the song highlights the importance of emotional presence – offering a judgment-free sanctuary, active listening, and a gentle shoulder to lean on during moments of trial and healing.

When you need outside and you’re inside
You don’t know what love is
Now it’s all in the dark without sunlight
We all know how life is
Why don’t you
‘Cause, thеre’s a pride in you
Want you to drown all your feelings inside
It’s half past two, I drovе a mile to you
Open the door, just pull up to your drive through
