Alejandro Garnacho has joined Chelsea from Manchester United, signing a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2032.
The 21-year-old winger celebrated his birthday in July and brings a wealth of experience to Stamford Bridge, with 93 Premier League appearances and 16 goals to his name. Alejandro Garnacho is known for his incredible overhead kick against Everton last season, a goal that won the 2024 FIFA Puskas Award.

Speaking about his transfer, Garnacho said, “It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. I watched the Club World Cup and to join the world champions is special – we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy.”
Born in Madrid, Garnacho played in the youth systems of Getafe and Atletico Madrid before joining Manchester United in 2020 at the age of 16. He made his senior debut in April 2022 against Chelsea and quickly became a key player for United. In the 2022/23 season, he scored five goals in 34 appearances, including a last-minute winner against Fulham.

The following season, Garnacho became a regular starter, scoring seven league goals, including a memorable brace against Chelsea and his Puskas Award-winning goal. He also made his Champions League debut and scored in a 3-3 draw against Galatasaray.
