The Italian manager’s tenure at Stamford Bridge appears to be under threat following a dismal run of form across all competitions. Despite arriving in June 2024 and securing early silverware – including the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup – Enzo Maresca now faces immense pressure to exit Chelsea Football club.
While Maresca successfully returned Chelsea to the Champions League with a distinct tactical identity, the club’s momentum has stalled. The Blues have managed only one victory in their last seven Premier League outings, sparking vocal frustration from the fanbase. This tension peaked during a recent 2–2 draw against Bournemouth, where supporters booed the team and openly questioned Maresca’s strategy.

According to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, Maresca is now evaluating his position, with rumors suggesting a potential resignation due to fractured relationships with club leadership. Although he is under a five-year contract with an optional extension, his future remains highly uncertain.
