Durham University is offering 85 Inspiring Excellence £10,000 Scholarships for outstanding international students applying to specific 1-year taught Master’s programs beginning in September 2025.
The Durham University 2025 Scholarships is awarded as a tuition fee reduction.
Who Can Apply?
- International students applying for September 2025 entry
- Applicants to one of the seven eligible Master’s programs
- Students who are self-funded (not receiving other scholarships or sponsorships)
- Must meet or exceed the academic entry requirements of the selected program
- Must have received a conditional or unconditional offer from Durham University by the deadline.
Scholarship Benefits:
- £10,000 tuition fee reduction for the 2025/26 academic year
- Non-cash and non-transferable

- MSc International Business – N2PD09.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Durham’s Inspiring Excellence 10K postgraduate scholarships, you must:
- have applied to one of the following seven masters programs specified above for September 2025
- meet or exceed the entry requirements for the program applied for at Durham University
- be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes
- self-funded and not supported by external sponsor or already be in receipt of any other scholarship (from the university or externally)
- complete the Inspiring Excellence 10K postgraduate scholarships application form by 30 April 2025 (for 1st Selection) and 08th June 2025 (for 2nd selection)
- have received an offer for a Master’s program at Durham University by 04 May 2025 (for 1st Selection) and 08th June 2025 (for 2nd selection)

Apply for one of the eligible courses: Please submit your academic application, with all supporting documents , via the postgraduate online application portal for one of the eligible programs.
Deadlines:
1st Round:
- Offer Deadline: 4 May 2025
- Scholarship Form Deadline: 30 April 2025 (midnight GMT)
2nd Round:
- Offer Deadline: 8 June 2025
- Scholarship Form Deadline: 8 June 2025 (midnight GMT).
